Site Rentals

Sprout is a full service restaurant. We have one main dining room that can accommodate twenty-five to thirty people, a full service kitchen, two handicap accessible bathrooms, and the front room market area with permanent fixtures such as high backed booths and shelving displaying locally made artwork. We offer a 10% discount to all VCU faculty for room rentals, and catering orders over $50.
The Front Dining Room is equipped with a bar, barstools, benches, tables and chairs. It is an open space decoratively designed with art nouveau style stained glass and light fixtures.  It is also our gallery space, displaying monthly art shows.
The Market Dining Room is rustically designed with plank wood shelves displaying locally made products and high-backed wooden booths for a more intimate seating arrangement.
The Back Room equipped with a stage area that may be reserved for private shows or in addition to a front room rental.  Additional fees for sound and lighting equipment may apply.  Please contact us for more information.
One or all rooms can be reserved for private events. Reservations include exclusive use of the space, set up and break down of event seating and tables, at least one on-site staff member, and clean-up of the event.
Rates:
Rental Fee (front rooms)- $425 (1- 5 hours)

Catering: Sprout offers full service catering for any type of event.  Whether you want a buffet or full-service plated meal, we can create a menu tailored to your specifications and menu requests within the framework of seasonal availability.  All of our food is purchased from local farmers and producers, which provides a wide variety of fresh local fare.  Please contact us for more information or a sample menu for your event.

Alcohol: Sprout holds a Beer / Wine / Mixed Drink on premises ABC license for events serving alcohol. Alcohol may be purchased through Sprout for use during an event at Sprout.  In order to comply with ABC regulations, all event patrons must be at least 21 years of age and have an ID available in order to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.  Alcohol is not to be consumed outside of the building at any time.  A bartender can be provided for an event at a rate of $15/hour.

Sound Equipment and Music: Sprout can provide a PA and other sound equipment for your event.  A $75 fee is required for use of the equipment and a sound equipment operator.

Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable deposit equal to half of the final bill is due two weeks before the event in order to secure the date.  This deposit will be subtracted from the final bill.  Final payments are due in full on the date of the event.

Security Deposit: A $150 deposit is added to the final bill to cover the costs of clean up and potential damage to the space. This deposit will be refunded at least one week after the event.
